Brothel raided in Maharagama
Four sex workers were arrested during a raid by the Organised Crimes Investigation Unit on an alleged brothel being run under the guise of an Ayurvedic Medical Centre in Weerakkody Mawatha, Maharagama last evening, police said.
They said another suspect was arrested for managing the brothel.
The arrested women suspects were residents of Ratnapura, Colombo, Buthpitiya and Jaffna areas.
They are to be produced before the Gandodawila Magistrate today
