Video: Susil appointed as national organizer of SLFP

The central committee of Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) has decided to appoint MP Susil Premjayantha as the party’s national organizer and MP Anura Priyadharsana Yapa to remain as the General Secretary.

The central committee that met today has also decided to appoint MP S.B.Nawinna as the party’s treasurer. During yesterday’s meeting, the party decided to amend the party constitution as well.

Former Presidents Chandrika Kumaratunga, Mahinda Rajapaksa, former Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickramanayake, D.M.Jayaratne and party senior member Alavi Maulana have been appointed as advisors.

Opposition Leader Nimal Siripala de Silva and MP WDJ Seneviratne have been appointed as senior vice Presidents of the party while Rajitha Senaratne, S.B.Dissanayake, Piyasena Gamage and MKDS Gunawardane have been appointed as Vice Presidents of the party. (Lakna Paranamanna)
