I wonder why people are overreacting!
Only those children know how to lose their parents. Mind you, they are still orphans and in need of love and care.

All the readers are thanking president, then who appointed those officers who took the decision to seporate the innocent children?. If DM not enlighten the news idiotic inhumane officers would seporate the kids.

likely both of them were produced in court ,otherwise the news of abuse or some other news could have been published. we are happy that government accepted the guardianship of these kids.

Maybe the president can pardon the children's father as well. I know he committed a murder but he did that to avenge the murder of these children's mother.
Just something to think about.

Mr. Rajapakse has shown genuine kindness.
Sometimes we need someone like a President to
show us that it is wrong to separate siblings as old as them.
They seem attached to each other and this may cause some
emotional problems.

Were the authorities so disconnected from what was going on to separate these kids? If the president doesn't get involved nothing happens in this country. Pathetic.
