The Sri Lankan government today rejected the report of the Secretary General's Panel of Experts on accountability in Sri Lanka terming it as ‘flawed’ and ‘biased report.
The External Ministry said in a statement that it has received a copy of the three-member expert panel report and said, “The Government finds this report fundamentally flawed in many respects. Among other deficiencies, the report is based on patently biased material which is presented without any verification”
“The Government will, in due course, comment in detail on the contents of the Report” it also added.

From which sources do they get proofs? Tamil diaspora, who have mislead all the world for decades. Before try war crimes in SL ( Sure there is nothing) ,UN, USA, France, and all it's allies plus Ban Ki Moon should face war crimes they committed and commit in Libya, Afganistan, Ivory Coast, Somalia, Iraq. These are the real war criminals. So called UN GS Ban Ki Moon is a real war criminal. Nothing to worry as these killers missed the chance to save terrorists. We are proud of our president. If he bend war continues it paves war for these criminals to attack Sri Lanka saying we try to protect civilians.

Guys im a stong UNP'er inheritted from my family. But still we should put the country first of this matter. We may have so soo many disputes with the Mahinda regimy. But stand by the nation on this matter. The LTTE diospora is celebrating this!!!

Great comment UNP let's stand up as one in this matter. Mahinda's dictatorship is one matter, country's pride and independence is another matter. Let's take a leaf out of great UNP leaders like D.S., Dudley, Sir John, J.R, Premadasa and D.B. and support the country now. Kick that **soul Ranil. He is the cause of all trouble for UNP and the country. We can kick Mahinda after we protect the country and install a UNP government.

I wrote to the UN on this and no answer.... if there is a GOD the diaspora supporting terrorists will die one after another for this crime......

Anybody on earth knows what the report on Sirilanka going to be even before hand. Also If any probe into US war crimes everybody knows the outcome of it too before hand - These reports are stark jokes.

Look at it neutrally. We must get the report of the LLRC out fast and it be disseminated by a group of people including HR activists and opposition members. If it passes muster then we are home. Panels outside your own country will do us no good. Though in my pure personal opinion you cannot fight a war without civilian casualties, Look at Afghanistan, when US drones attack even one of Karzai's relatives were killed. The report like the JVP brothers say is the work of Imperialists who don't like to give us credit.

sam Thursday, 14 April 2011 07:49 AM
If you didn't want a biased report then the govt of SL should have allowed the UN panel to visit SL to investigate and verify the complaints they received. The govt have only themselves to blame for allowing this report to go against SL in the international stage.

What made you to reject the report I wonder? You had the oppertunity to give evidence and clear your name, provided if you have had no involevment in the killings. Now you say you can not accept the report and there are flaws. Why dont you prove that you are clean. Why dont you publish the report and reply to all the doubts to prove that you were Mr. Clean.
