Rs. 30mn worth of outdated sprats detected

Sprats worth more than Rs. 30 million which was outdated were detected at a mega storage facility at Alakanda in Hendala, during an unannounced raid carried out by the Consumer Affairs Authority today.

The sprats said to be weighing over 47, 000 kgs had been stored for release to the local market. (LSP)
