The second reading of the 2011 Budget was passed in parliament a short while ago, with 150 votes for and 46 against. The UNP and DNA voted against the Budget while the TNA abstained from voting. (KB/YP)

Naturally. Whose there to block it? It appears that the TNA is also now on the fence even though they complained that the budget was not IDP priority.

Who cares. Can anyone object. If you have the majority anything can be passed. Protesting is a waste of time.

Out of the 150 how many of them understand the Budget, it's pros and cons? The only assumption is all 150 are 'yes' men.
