Opposition leader Ranil Wickremesinghe said today that the tsunami in Japan and unrest in the Middle East is likely to have adverse effects on Sri Lanka’s economy because of government’s unsound policy of falling out with the West.
Addressing a public rally in Pepiliyana today Mr. Wickremesinghe said the Middle Eastern Countries would not be able to help Sri Lanka because of the political unrests in those countries. Besides he said Japan also would not be able to support because of the natural disaster it had faced on Friday. (YP)
