Sri Lanka has been selected to host the 3rd Asian Youth Games in 2017 the National Olympic Committee announced today. The Announcement was made at a special press briefing held at the National Olympic Committee auditorium a short while ago. (S.A)

From the comments here it is obvious to any outsider that Sri Lankan's have not national pride at all. No love or loyalty to the country of birth. This should be a joyous occasion, countries spend a lot of money to get these sports events to their countries but it appears that our ' bath gotas ' are more worried about eating than international sports events. If this is the attitude, then we would never develop as a country.
