Sri Lanka needs cyber soldiers to protect its cyber space with assistance from all IT sector participants, Army Commander Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya said today.

He added that during the humanitarian operation, the Army web site also encountered a web defacement attack. "Even at present there are continuous efforts being made to hack into our network which we have successfully defended up to now," he said. (Supun Dias)

Well, I see whats going on now. Seems the government is freaked over what has happened in tunisia, egypt and libya with so called "Social network" revolution based upon social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. They need to identify and silence the internet rebels
