Sports Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage promised today that there would be change of administration and an election of office bearers at Sri Lanka Cricket after the current tour of England by the national team ends.
“Clearly we are going for an election. After the current tour of England there will be a change at Sri Lanka Cricket. You will then get all the answers you need for your questions” Minister told a local TV channel today.
Minister also admitted that there were weaknesses in the present administration which was appointed by the government Sports Minister in 2009.
“We admit that Sri Lanka Cricket is in some sort of a financial crisis. There also admit that there are certain weakness in the administration. I agree that these administrators could have seen more about this institution financially.
