An individual was arrested with 1.176 kilograms of heroin in Maligawatta during a raid carried out by the Maligawatta Anti Corruption Unit this morning.
Police said the heroin worth Rs. 25 million was seized when the suspect was in the process of selling the drugs to an individual, near the Maligawattha Muslim Cemetery.
Police said the 38-year-old suspect; a resident of Wattala has been identified as a large scale international drug smuggler.(Darshana Sanjeewa)

These are street retailers. Where are the king pins who import this and ecstasy tablets. Catch them to really stop the menace of drugs. This is just fooling around to show that they are catching some.
