Sons assault police father
A sergeant of the Ratgama police station who sustained injuries allegedly during a scuffle with his two sons was admitted to Karapitiya hospital. The two suspects had assaulted their father with clubs. Police said one of the suspects was a 15 year old boy.
The Ratgama police arrested one of the suspects and initiated inquiries to arrest the other who was absconding after the incident. (Sumathipala Diyagahage)

Such acts against parents are deplorable. However, such incidents do occur when a father mistreats family members under influence of liquor, resulting in retaliation by grown up kids.

Not only Ratgama, this is typical southern way of sorting things. Look around and see the mentality of three wheeler drivers, bus drivers, policement, parliment ministers...all have the common arrogance and chandi talk.
