Warm weather will prevail island wide with the Sun directly coming over Sri Lanka from the 5th to the 15th of April , the Department of Meteorology told Daily Mirror online.

A spokesman for the department added that the apparent Northward relative motion of the Sun would directly place it above the latitudes of Sri Lanka between the 5th to the 15th of April and afterwards due to Southward relative motion the Sun will be above the island back in September.

Dikwella , Kakandura, Weligama, Wedigama will experience the brunt of the effects of the Sun being over Sri lanka around 12.14 PM tomorrow.

Further the Department of added that fair and warm weather will prevail island wide with few thunder showers expected in inland areas during the evening due to the warm temperature. (Daily Mirror online)
