Sun over Lanka
The Sun is almost over Sri Lanka since yesterday, the Department of Meteorology said today adding that tomorrow the nearest towns falling directly under the sun will be Viduthalaitivu, Nayinamadu and Kokilai in the North.
The Sun will be over Sri Lanka till 8th September, the Department of Meteorology added.
Meanwhile the Department of Meteorology said that thundershowers will develop in some parts of the island tomorrow while strong winds may also be experienced in the Central hills. (Daily Mirror online)
