Syrian national arrested at BIA with forged visa

A Syrian national who attempted to migrate to Germany using a forged visa was arrested yesterday by the CID at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), the Police said.
The 35-year-old suspect was produced in the Negombo Magistrate Court and was remanded till October 10.
