President Maithripala Sirisena has appointed three Directors for Special Presidential Projects in the Uva, North-Western and Central Provinces while another Special Presidential Project Officer has been appointed for the Polonnaruwa District, the Presidential Media Unit said.
Former deputy minister Eric Weerawardena was appointed to the Central Province, former deputy minister Shantha Bandara to the North-Western Province and former minister Jagath Pushpakumara to the Uva Province as directors for special presidential projects while Premasiri Munasinghe has been appointed as special presidential project officer to the Polonnaruwa District.
