Three Indians were arrested while attempting to smuggle 175 kgs of ‘Kerala Ganja’ from India, near the sea off Kalpitiya, by the Sri Lanka Navy last night.

A boat which had been used to smuggle Kerala Ganja had also been taken into custody along with the suspects.

Navy Spokesman Commander Kosala Warnakulasuriya said the arrested would be handed over to the Terrorist Investigation Department (TID) for further investigations.(DS)
