Two killed, 11 injured in accident
Two persons were killed and eleven people injured when their jeep collided with a lorry in Meennana, Eheliyagoda on the Colombo-Ratnapura Main Road this evening, police said.
Police spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana said that the injured had been admitted to the Avissawella Base Hospital and two of them was transferred to the Colombo National Hospital.
According to police, the group who met with the accident had gone to attend a wedding.(DS)
