Two adults and a child were killed and more than seventy were injured when a bus carrying school children on an educational trip to Nuwara Eliya plunged into a 100 feet precipice at Seetha Eliya on Nuwara Eliya-Welimada road this afternoon.

About 76 people including seven teachers and five parents had been on the bus at the time of the tragedy. (Shelton Hettiarachchi)
