The United National Party (UNP) Working Committee today unanimously decided to go for General Elections under the present system after April 23, sources said.

If the election is held under the old system then there isno doubt the same old thieves will come back again to theparliament and more and more corruption will take place.This is a foolish decision of the government . I hope and expect there will be lot of protests against this. Ranil issupporting the Rajapaksa family.
