The UNP- led protest march came under attack by an armed group a short while ago at Punchi Borella. Several persons were injured in the incident and a few vehicles damaged. Protestors were heading towards the Welikda prison demanding the release of former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka.

Yeas of course,
The attack has been done by the opposition themselves.
As there are so many intelligent people like you, in SL (they are the majority) it is the conclusion.
Strangest thing is, the government has allocated a considerable amount on defence rather than health and education, according to the budget. But the Police and the Army, helpless.
