A future United National Party (UNP) government will terminate all MoUs which Sri Lanka has signed with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Opposition and UNP National Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe said today.
He gave this warning when he met some retired educationists at his office last morning.
Mr. Wickremesinghe said a future UNP government would give priority to education no matter what donors such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) say.
He said the UNP intended introducing new laws on special study courses for the GCE ordinary level repeaters and assured it would bring in changes to the education system so that those who fail the GCE O/L examination could remain in school and follow special courses.
