Sri Lankan High Commissioner in Australia Admiral Thisara Samarasinghe said the Tamil National Alliance’s victory in the recently concluded provincial council elections will lead to the reconciliation in Sri Lanka.

In an interview with the Australia’s ABC TV 24 news channel, Samarasinghe also said the election for the Northern Province was a turning point for the country not only for the Northern Province itself.

High Commissioner Samarasinghe was interviewed live by Jane Hutcheon on ABC TV 24 the “world” International Affairs programme which was mainly focused on Northern Province election, High Commissioner Navi Pillai’s statements and allegation of Human rights.

After viewing this interview, it became obvious that Mahinda Samarasinghe is not a suitable candidate to handle Sri Lankan public relations.

Firstly, I feel petty about your poor understanding an ill comments on Mr. Samarasinghe.

1. He is not Mr. Mahinda Samarasinghe
2. He is not a candidate as he has already been appointed by the GOSL.

Secondly, did you understand what he says clearly before commenting?

My conclusion is that this is the level of knowledge and mindfulness of those who criticize Sri Lanka today.
