Water cut in Colombo from tomorrow to 16

Water supply will be interrupted from 8 a.m to 5 p.m. from tomorrow to 16 in Colombo and its suburbs due to a power outage at the Biyagama water filtration centre, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said.

Areas affected by this water-cut outside of Colombo will be the provincial councils of Kelaniya, Mahara, Wattala, Ja-ela, Biyagama, Dompe and Peliyagoda.

The Water Board requests the public to collect water overnight and also warned of water cuts in the future if the dry weather continues. (DS)

Please clarify if the interruption is daily from 8 am to 5 pm or from 8 am from today up to 5 pm on the 16th (continuously)
and how com there are provincial; councils in the mentioned
towns

Why are you worried about provincial councils, if you are within the areas mentioned, quickly collect adequate quantity of water and get ready for further water cuts in the future. Expect the worst!
