Mr. Lakshitha; thanks a lot in trying to enlightning me according to your thinking; whilst respecting your right of belief please allow me to forge forward in my own way of reasoning. But please note that I do not condone each and everything of the present regime. Only I have serious doubts on the consequent "Change". At the end of the day we all have to win; cause we never depend on politicians for any favours. All the best to you.

Tuesday, 26 January 2010 12:48 AM
noticed that a lot more people are worried about a holiday on Wednesday rather that the future of the country, its this very approach that's seem to have in this mess in the first place, settling for mediocrity.Lets hope there's an end to violence and lawlessness first, I feel corruption may take a little longer.

Wake up Hen Ling. UNP vote base is larger than that of SLFP and allies historically. They are not extremists either; thats why they supported who ever they thought would do good; even to MR. Now with a proper alternative, and with the obvious disillusionment, Wednesday would see the real overwhelming majority of Sri Lankan party base in favor of UNP.

25 years ago when the opposition politicians were showing a loaf of bread to the public from a election plat form the argument was a poor person will not be able to afford this loaf of bread in the future the way the govt was going on at that time.
Today low income eats one a day where as the middle income people eats twice a day
Meals for three times a day have become a luxury in our country
If the country goes like this 20% population will die due to starvation and malnutrition another 40% will be able barely afford only a meal a daily after meeting all the bills
Country is going to a disaster unless corruption is stopped

dear hen, stop clucking please. what has HE done since LTTE were crushed? His clan has robbed this country and the only hope of some justice for the people is to dot the rot on 26th. Be careful with your chewing gum. Perhaps you could switch to Betel leaves after the 26th for free. cheers!

The big hype created by SF "exhaust fans" will come to zero with the results on 27th. We'll celebrate the victory for mother lanka and defeat for foreign funded "hate & revange" brigade.
