Video: Wele Suda’s heroin gearboxes found

The Police Narcotics Bureau today took 26 tractors into custody found in a warehouse in Sinharamulla, Kelaniya, on suspicion of them being used to transport heroin by drug smuggling suspect Wele Suda.

The Police revealed that stocks of heroin were placed in the gear boxes of the vehicles in order to be transported.

It was alleged that Wele Suda had sent drugs to the warehouse address, while he was abroad. (Kevin Kariyawasam & Sanath Desmond)
