The JVP assured it would not hesitate to provide its support if the government brings a fresh but genuine private sector pension scheme.

Addressing a news conference in Colombo, JVP General Secretary Tilvin Silva said his party was ready to accept a new scheme instead of the current one, which is very harmful to the employees.

“If the government brings a new genuine scheme that would benefit the workers, as a party we will give our support,” he said. (Yohan Perera)

PEOPLE WORKING IN PRIVATE SECTORS- HAVE ANY PLAN AFTER RETIREMENT?? DEPAND ONLY ON EPF AND ETF FUNDS?- i REALLY DO NOT KNOW WHAT PEOPLE PLANNING AHEAD OF THIER LIFE? JVP MUST REVIEW THIS PLAN AND MOTIVATE THE GOVERMENT TO IMPLEMENT OR REMOVE.
