Prime Minister of Spain Jose Luis Zapatero told President Mahinda Rajapaksa, in St Petersburg that the international community and the United Nations should help Sri Lanka after the end of the conflict.

President Rajapaksa briefed the Spanish PM on the reconciliation and resettlement process undertaken by the government and the economic progress of the country after the end of the conflict, the President Media Unit said. (Daily Mirror online)
