Youth drowns in boat capsise

A 23-year-old youth drowned when a boat capsised in Kalukohutenna, Kithulgala on the Kelani River last evening, Police said.
The tragedy occurred while a group of people was going on a boat ride on the Kelani river.
The victim, a resident of Pannipitiya, died on admission to the Kithulgala Hospital.
