Jathika Janabalawegaya (NPP) has organised a National Economic Forum on January 24, 2023, at 5:30 p.m., at Galadari Hotel, Colombo 1.

Over 500 corporate leaders representing all sectors, including university academics, researchers and foreign investors in Sri Lanka, will be attending this forum.

The NPP will be presenting its economic policy framework at this high-level meeting and it wishes to have an engagement with the entrepreneurs, with a view to establish a business-friendly production economy in Sri Lanka.

NPP Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake will be addressing the gathering.

He will certainly discuss how he can further sabotage both government and private sector businesses by using his trade unions and student unions etc

They can't be genuinely private sector friendly. All they have done and contributed towards over the past 9 months has been to promote further economic stability and exacerbate the crisis and propagate fear. It has been the only way they seek to be relevant. Wasn't even the fuel crisis further fuelled by their troops?
