Sri Lanka's Aruna Darshana finished sixth in the first heat of the Men's 400m at the 2023 World Athletic Championships in Budapest, Hungary. 

Darshana clocked a time of 45.70 secs, in a heat won by Steven Gardiner of the Bahamas, who ran a time of 45.70.
