Hope the Govt/Edu Ministry will recognise his talent and give him (and his coaches) due recognition and special benfits. I recall when Jayanthi (the 1st Sri Lankan and a lady) climbed Mt. Everest she was only given a dinner at TT.Edmund Hillary was made a Knight and Tensing acclaimed in 1953. How badly we treat our great sportspersons and achievers while the politikkas enjoy great benefits.
