Court orders to perform DNA test

Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court today ordered the Government Analyst to conduct DNA tests on the samples collected from the blood samples and other body parts of businessman Dinesh Schaffter.

Colombo Additional Magistrate Rajindra Jayasuriya made this order pursuant to a request made by CID. The CID informed court that they are expecting to call for a DNA report pertaining to body parts of businessman Dinesh Schaffter and other samples collected from the crime scene.

The DNA tests are to be performed on the samples of blood, hair, nails of Dinesh Schaffter and other materials collected from the crime scene.

The CID said they are conducting investigations to determine wheather the businessman's death was a homicide or a suicide. (Lakmal Sooriyagoda)

Looks like they have already concluded that he committed suicide, may be all others including Lasantha, Eknaligoda, Thajudden committed suicide too. This may be the first case that someone committed suicide with a wire around the neck , may be he committed suicide first and drove the car to the cemetery for his own funeral. Our guys are making fantasy stories, may be you should start writing movie scripts now.
