Four Thai women among six arrested in Kollupitiya brothel

Police raided a brothel which had been operating in the guise of a spa in Kollupitiya and arrested six suspects, including four Thai women.

Police said the raid was carried out by officers of the Kollupitiya Police last night, based on a tip-off.

They said two men, the manager of the brothel, a resident of Colombo and another man from Payagala and four Thai women aged between 37 and 40 were arrested during the raid.

The suspects are to be produced before the Fort Magistrate's court today.
