Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardene had informed party leaders that President Gotabaya Rajapaksa is ready to resign if they make such a request, Leader of Opposition Sajith Premadasa told Parliament today.

Mr. Premadasa said the Speaker came up with this information during the party leaders meeting which was called by the Speaker this morning. (Yohan Perera and Ajith Siriwardana)

If he wanted to resign he would have done it the moment he knew he messed up!!!! But all these are part of a bigger drama. The plot is simple.... Drag the current situation to the last point..... Send family members out of country..... Send all remaining funds ...... Leave to a destination where they can make a come back for namal babas future president aspirations!!!!
