“He has flown business class” - Rohitha gets critical of AKD’S Aussie tour
MP Rohitha Abeygunawardena was critical of Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna leader Anura Kumara Dissanayaka’s recent tour of Australia, accusing the party and its membership of hypocrisy.
“If you question them, they’ll say that even the pants he was wearing were given by a brother. But I saw that he has flown business class, ” Abeygunawardena said, addressing a Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Kesbewa electorate meeting in Piliyandala.
Abeygunawardena was among several politicians who questioned the JVP leader’s recent tour where he addressed National People’s Power (NPP) party meetings held across several cities in Australia.
“In Australia, they talk of the economic issues in Sri Lanka. But one must really calculate the damage they caused to the economy and the property destruction they caused, to ascertain the real damage, ” Abeygunawardena said accusing the JVP leader of hypocrisy.

Yes, these JVP guys have been systematically destroying the country for decades. Now they smell a chance because the other politicians from all other parties have robbed the country. But , after decades of carrying out arsenic activities, how can they claim that they will become very honest , fair leaders Now to rebuild the country? This AKD lives in luxury and the JVP offices are fully air conditioned too. So they are no different from any other party. They will fix the final nails to the coffin.

Well the leopard has not changed it's spot has it? The tactics employed by them in their attempt to over throw the government last year was was not too disssimilar to that of the 70's and 80's. It may have been a bit refined from a few decades ago, but the strategy was aligned. If it meant violence and thuggery to achieve their goal of an insurrection they would justfy it. Like the good old days they have used others, mainly youth, to be their cats paw, while they provide leadership and resources from behind the scenes. The fact that only these guys were given unhindered access to Galle Face after the attack brought out the nexus between the parties to light. Everyone cannot be fooled all the time.

Unlike the Pottu rogues who have squandered the Public Purse which has now created a DDO program thus further fleecing the public EPF and ETF monies. Who is this puritan talking of other peoples travels when all these fellow have someway or other created havoc for this country and manipulated in absolving them of these crimes by crooked means. Not sure what these so-called tours in Australia were about or where they were held or who attended. Biggest hog wash. He's just like the JVP founder/leader who, in the 70s preached justice for the poor, fought and killed hundreds of innocent soldiers and civilians while all the while he was living down South in the lap of luxury with his wife and children. And mind you, while his rebels were living in the jungle with no protection, no money, and hardly any food. These Che Guevara-type heroics in Sri Lanka are all about gaining power and wealth. We became a republic for this???? Absolutely tragic state of affairs.

Why go on about History/the PAST, concentrate on the recent past and what/THOSE that brought the country to its knees and the masses suffering the WORST. NOT a single court case and or inquiry against those who were directly and or indirectly responsible for the downfall of the country. Big Deal taking a business class seat!!!. It was a vice decision of those who organized AKD s trip to Aus ,to accommodate him in business class as his tour Aus was very hectic. I believe from the fallowing day he landed in Melbourne he started to address SriLankan explaining the plight of our country and its people. He never went on shopping like those politicians who traveled using people’s money abroad for worthless conferences. The whole country knows the character of Rohitha A and who’s tenure in politics will be over with the first election of this country which has to be held in the near future.

We had hundreds of castes among our citizens - Hindus and Buddhists. For the last few decades they have been consolidated and made to two castes. They are Politicians and Non-politicians castes. If you are a politician, you gain everything. Money Power, Immunity, and bogus acting etc. Others don't have anything if they have no relatives in power. It is new in Sri Lanka, just like in USSR once upon a time. If you in Communist party you can drive in middle of the road. Others have to follow traffic rules.

Anyone of guys and favourites commending them, please give details of good financial governance of funds collected, can you publish their audited accounts for the public awareness. Unlike the parasites who used people’s money to travel abroad AKD well spent his time explaining the SriLankan and Australian alike the pathetic condition of our country and also how to come out it . He further elaborated who brought our country to this situation. He visited farms and industries to see whether our country too can get some inspiration from their technology. We have never seen our politicians using their official foreign visits for the benefit our country.They run around for the purpose of their personal interest.

That is to $track AKD s every movement which includes his foreign trips , which class he travels, the food he consumed in the flight, the people he accompanies with. Where he travels, with whom he travels. 3 percent boys have given Them lot of work to be occupied with during these days.
