India recommences issuing e-visas for Sri Lankans

India has recommenced issuing electronic visas (e-visas) for Sri Lankan nationals for convenient travel, leisure, business, conferences etc, the Indian High Commission in Colombo said.

Travellers have been requested to visit indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html to apply for their visas.

Many major disasters in Sri Lanka have Indian footprint in them. The creation of the LTTE terrorists, Collapsing of the well managed COVID control when infected Indians with the deadly Indian Variant(delta variant) came from India and visited those factories, the Easter bombings( Indian intelligence had relationship with the Muslim bombers) the present environmental crisis, and of course the rapes and massacres of Tamil civilians in Jaffna. Seriously we need to cut off all links with this horrible country on earth.

I have visited India many many times over the past 20 years. I believe other than visiting places of tourist places there is nothing more. Don't get trapped to spiritual and yoga tourism as it will only end spending your hard earned money with poojas etc and these never work. All happens according to our destiny and nobody can change it.

Sri Lanka should become the next state of Indian Sub continent. It was JR’s shrudeness that brought in the IPKF which ended in calamity. Sl since independence has killed,maimed, raped, burnt, reduced universities ,no jobs, no commercial ventures such as factories, airports, harbours in the North and East for the Tamils.It’s Indian intelligence that brought down the LTTE. India has made mistakes. Sri Lanka due to its chauvinistic policies gave birth to Militancy among the Tamils. Make Two states in one country everlasting problem solved.Where ever humans exists jealousy exists.Spiritual Poona said never work in Sri Lanka nor in any other parts of the world. However people have faith.

I fully agree with Sunil. People would say "visit this holy place and your delayed marriage will happen or you will have a baby or you will get a promotion in office". This is mad organised propaganda as all who go will not get it. Some will get it due to coincidence and nothing to do with the visit to the holy place. This is the way we waste our money. Take decisions based on data and information analysis and pray to God from home or closest religious place and don't spend money. Instead, help the needy.

Proudly Indian, as most Tamils in the north and east and they will say that to them it was the LTTE who were not terrorists but the foreign largely north Indian IPKF who are terrorists. The LTTE was fighting a war in their own land, however the so-called foreign IPKF, which pretended to come and keep peace, only raped looted and killed thousands of innocent Tamils in their own land. like an occupying terrorist racist Nazi-like army. Rajiv Sent them and knew what was happening. Had made a deal with wily JR and double-crossed the Tamils and paid for his stupidity with his life. The LTTE is the child of State-sponsored Sinhalese racism and Indian opportunism.

Govt should keep a track of how many are coming back. Must make a big bond to give exit clearance. Most Sri Lankans jump ship and vanish once out of the country. This includes even defense services personnel, sports persons, business people, etc.
