Former Minister Johnston Fernando, who was arrested and remanded in connection with an unregistered luxury vehicle, has been granted bail.

He was taken into custody after a luxury vehicle, allegedly belonging to him, was found parked on the premises of a star-class hotel.

The whole country know very well Johnston Fernando is a very honest person. He never took a single cent from the government. He worked for the people of Sri Lanka under the good leader ship of Mahinda Rajapakse. Under Mahinda rajapakse nobody is allowed to steal money from the government.

These alkegations and presumptions need to be substantiated with hard evidence and untill that its just mere stories doing rounds. The charges of golden horses, Lambhoginies and stacks of dollars suppose to have been been held in Uganda, the various tax scams, the bond scam, inferior drug cases has to be proved recovered and perpetrators punished right. Otherwise it would be like the infamous and obsolete "Wanda Kotthu story" which could not be marketed any longer.
