Kottu price lowered by Rs.50 from today



With the reduction of the wholesale price of wheat flour, the All Island Canteen Owners' Association (AICOA) has decided to reduce the price of kottu rotti by Rs. 50 from this morning.

AICOA Chief Asela Sampath told the Daily Mirror that the benifit of the price reduction of wheat flour should be given to the people.

Kottu is sold at different prices ranging between Rs.500 and Rs. 1,000 nowadays.

As such, the maximum price of a chicken kottu would be in the range of Rs.500, is normally enough for two people. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
