MetaHub' to solve teachers' issues related teaching Maths

The Education Ministry today launched its first-ever Mathematics Education Teacher Awareness Web Portal, "MetaHub," to make it quick and easy to solve issues that the teachers face related to the subject of mathematics.

The MetaHub (Mathematics Education Teacher Awareness Hub) is the first-ever platform that links teachers in Sri Lanka with the field of mathematics education.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the project was signed recently by Education Ministry Secretary M.N. Ranasinghe at the Ministry.

The co-founders of this web portal are Sri Lanka University of Technology Advisor Dr. Shelton Perera and Sri Jayawardenepura University Technology Faculty Dr. Gaya Jayakodi.

The Education Ministry advises teachers to visit this web portal and register at http://www.meta-hub.org.lk to solve their issues related to teaching mathematics. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)

Asking for too much personal information!! In this day and age where our data is unprotected and vulnerable to hacks and piracy and in the absence of stringent data protection laws in the country, this is totally unacceptable!! It should be a basic Portal that anyone can join by a simple login system where no personal information is required to be divulged!! Trust the admins and concept developers take the above concerns to account.
