Ministry of Energy closed; Gammanpila goes into self-isolation
Minister of Energy Udaya Gammanpila has gone into self-isolation after several staff members of the Ministry tested positive for COVID-19.
Minister Gammanpila said the Ministry of Energy would remain closed from today until August 06 due to disinfecting process. “Several officials at the Ministry were found to be infected with the virus, but my Rapid Antigen Test has returned negative,” he tweeted. “However, I decided to self-isolate as a precautionary measure,” Minister Gammanpila added.Comments - 2
