Police raid party in Bentota; 30 arrested with ICE

At least 30 persons have been arrested with ICE during a raid conducted at a holiday bungalow in Bentota yesterday.

Police said the arrested were in the age groups between 21 and 37 and residents of Colombo 12, Wattala, Narahenpita, Kotahena, Maligawatta, Mattakkuliya and Walasmulla and the apprehended will be produced before the Balapitiya Magistrate's Court.

Arrest all the corrupted politicians in parliament especially Pohottuwa MPs for drug dealing. If not this problem will continue despite the security forces trying to arrest small time drug sellers when the ring leaders are in parliament !

Why arrest low-level operators? arrest the pohottuwa ministers like Lansa who import the drugs. Of course, the backdoor president will turn a blind eye.

The age range of 21-37. The prime age of a person's life. Such a shame and waste of human resource. These young people should be working and being productive to achieve their dreams and goals. How unfortunate that Sri Lanka has become infested with drugs. What will happen when the majority of the young people are hooked on drugs? The country has no future.

Lured into a holiday home!!! this is how they get the youth hooked on drugs. In most cases the drugs are given free and once hooked on drugs, they are used as dealers, carriers etc. EDUCATION in a MUST in ALL SCHOOLS. electronic media, bill boards etc. At a time like this when the masses are struggling to put food on the table seems to be the best time for the king pins to start recruiting.
