The Negombo Police are carrying out investigations to locate a 17-year-old girl who had gone missing since June 17 this year. 

Police said the father of the girl had lodged a complaint with the Negombo Police over the disappearance of his daughter. 

They said the missing girl is identified as Gayathri Dewshani Sooriyasinghe, a resident of Liyanagemulla in Seeduwa, Negombo. 

The Police released a photograph of the missing girl seeking public assistance to locate her. 

Accordingly, they request any informants to contact the Negombo HQI on phone number 0718591630 or the Negombo Police on 031222227 if they have any information about the girl.
