Ranjan succeeds in degree examination

Former MP Ranjan Ramanayake has successfully passed the second year examination in his Bachelor of Arts in Youth Empowerment and Development from the Open University of Colombo.

Ramanayake is also a movie star said he sat for the examination while in prison. He was serving a prison sentence after having been found guilty of contempt of court.

“I have got good results in my second year examination and have two more years to complete my degree,” he told the Daily Mirror.
