Rosy appointed Presidential advisor

Former Mayoress of Colombo Rosy Senanayake has been appointed as the Presidential Advisor on Local Government Affairs.

Ms. Senanayake confirmed the appointment when contacted by the Daily Mirror.

Ms. Senanayake was elected Mayoress of Colombo in February 2018 and held the post till 2023.

She worked at Prime Minister’s office for a short period in 2015. (Yohan Perera)
