Sri Lankan footballer Duckson Puslas found dead in Maldives

May be an image of one or more people and text Sri Lanka football national player Duckson Puslas who was playing for Dhivehi Premier League in Maldives was found dead, according to the Football Federation of Sri Lanka.

The 31-year-old was in the Maldives, playing for Club Valencia in the Dhivehi Premier League and his body was found in his apartment yesterday.

"It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing away of Sri Lanka Football National Player Duckson Puslas in Maldives. Sri Lanka Football President, Jaswar Umar and FFSL wishes to extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Duckson Puslas. Our prayers are with you in this time of grief. May his soul Rest In Peace !!!," according to the official facebook page of Sri Lanka Football.

Is that all the Football President or the Football Federation of Sri Lanka can say; ".. it is with deep sorrow,.. and we extend our heartfelt condolences to the family"? What about investigating into the cause of death? Maldivians are not people to be taken lightly, and we ought to know that. Just recently one of their citizens was found dead on the Dehiwela beach with knife wounds to the neck. They did not take that lightly. I live and work here in Male' and I know these people very well. Please investigate the cause of death of this football player.
