Srilankan Airlines summoned before COPE



The National carrier Srilankan Airlines has been summoned before the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) next week, the Parliament media unit confirmed today. 

SriLankan Airlines Limited has been called to appear before COPE on April 27 while a number of other institutions will be summoned from April 25 to 27. 

Accordingly, Sri Lanka Export Credit Insurance Corporation has been summoned before COPE on the 25th while the Land Reforms Commission has been summoned to review the progress of implementing directives issued by the COPE on  April 26, while the University Grants Commission is scheduled to be present on the 28th. 

The Vocational Training Authority of Sri Lanka is scheduled to be called before COPE on 09 May to review the progress of implementing directives issued at the COPE meeting held on 23.03.2023. (Yohan Perera)
