PARLIAMENT (Daily Mirror)- A sum of USD 50,000 donated by Asian Cricket Council chief Jay Shah and USD 5,000 given by Indian cricket star Siraj for the ground staff of Pallekele and R. Premadasa stadiums have not been paid yet, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa told Parliament today.

"The ground staff have not been paid to date. What has become of this money," he asked.

Totally agree. This is what I have been repeatedly commenting. SL can sack a lot and bring in a new lot. The new lot also will be like the old. You sack them and bring another which will again will be no different to the previous two. Thinks were no better when Upali Darmadsa wss there earlier. What is in the pot only will come in the spoon. The whole country is corrupt. Through evolution probably the genes got modified.

The money would have been paid.... just not to the intended recipients. Did anyone check with Sri Lanka Cricket ? Plenty of very deserving people there!
