Indian PM wants annual disbursement of US $ 3 million from US $ 15 million fund for Buddhist heritage development in Sri Lanka



 

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has instructed Indian High Commissioner in Colombo Gopal Baglay to take measures to spend at least US $ 3 million annually out of US $ 15 million committed for the development of Buddhist heritage and Hindu temples in Sri Lanka and report on progress to New Delhi, Foreign Minister Prof. G.L. Peiris said today (September 27)
