Kataragama Esela Perahera (Cultural Pageant) that kicked off on July 29 will end on August 11 after traditional, religious ceremonies.

Fabulous Cultural Pageant. I have watched the Kandy Perahara, but this is also spectacular. Some questions:- How often does this take place, are tourists allowed to watch and if they are, there should be a charge applied to tourists to help the country.
